Carlos Malatesta

Carlos Malatesta is a serial entrepreneur, investor, author, and TEDx speaker who built and ultimately sold his solar-energy company, APEX Energies, to an investment fund for more than €100 million. His path wasn't a straight line — an early venture with his wife collapsed and left him in debt, and at the height of rebuilding he faced a cancer diagnosis that returned years later as a far more serious fight.

That second diagnosis became the catalyst for everything that followed. Malatesta realized that to take control of his company he first had to take control of his health and his life. As he rebuilt his habits, energy, and focus, the business followed — scaling from constant survival mode to generating millions per year before its nine-figure exit in 2022.

Today Malatesta invests across real estate in France and Spain, private equity, startups, and markets spanning the US, Europe, and Latin America. He is a philanthropist supporting vulnerable children in Latin America, author of the book ¡Feliz!, and the creator of Success Sin Estrés — a program teaching entrepreneurs how to multiply profitability without sacrificing their wellbeing.
