Yhonny Atella

Yhonny Atella — known in the industry as Atella — is a multi-platinum producer, songwriter, and music executive with a long-standing, genre-spanning career in the music business. His production credits include global superstars such as J Balvin, Axwell & Ingrosso, Sebastián Yatra, Luis Fonsi, Chino y Nacho, Guaynaa, Gloria Trevi, Charly Black, and Servando y Florentino.

As A&R Director for Universal Music in Miami (2019–2022), he was instrumental in identifying, nurturing, and shaping the careers of rising stars including Bad Gyal and Noreh — guiding their artistic development and securing key collaborations while helping Universal maintain its leadership in a fiercely competitive industry.

In his current role as Head of Music for Zumba and ZML Records, Atella revolutionized Zumba’s music business through the Zumba Music Lab program — driving original content and exclusive collaborations with artists like Guaynaa, Nacho, and Chimbala, and establishing Zumba as a major player on the global music scene.
